The Extreme H20 Zone

Kamikaze is a cutting-edge, multi-million-dollar extreme water slide and should be the top priority for anyone visiting Wet'n'Wild Water World this summer. It's the first waterslide of its kind in the southern hemisphere and combines a wet and dry experience. Jump on board the raft and glide down the U-shaped slippery slide which is lubricated only by water spray jets. On the way down you can reach up to 50km/h speeds and drop 11 metres at a 70-degree angle. It's extreme to the max but still fun for the whole family.

The name Wet n Wild Tornado pretty much sums this ride up! It's one for adrenaline junkies as you start your wild ride from a 15-metre-high platform. Join 2 to 4 people in a tube and explode into the middle of a Tornado. Spin, splash and swirl through ominous waters and finally come to the end of the ride as you blast your way into the peaceful waters in the eye of the storm.

Looming over the Extreme H20 Zone is a messy knot of black tubes that is the Blackhole. The Blackhole is one of the most extreme rides in the Extreme H20 Zone which says a lot. Riders begin their ride by hopping into either one of the enclosed slides which sends them on a whirlwind ride in absolute darkness. You never know which way you'll twist and turn until you shoot out in your final splashdown.

Hop on board and enjoy the fasted and longest water slides at Wet'n'Wild Water World. The Mach 5 consists of 5 separate high-impact water slides that let you snake down the slide with friends. The Sidewinders are two open-air flume rides that coil and curl over 200 metres for a truly heart-pumping ride. The Jetstreams make up the other ultimate thrill slides.

The AquaLoop is new to Wet'n'Wild and offers guests the chance to jump on one of the four transparent slides that loop high into the Gold Coast sky. Begin the AquaLoop adventure and be released through the trap door and down the slide into a vertical plunge which runs into a huge loop. You'll be enjoying reaching speeds of up to 60km/h on these slides.

Surfrider is an incredible, jaw-dropping thrill ride. Hope on the giant spinning surfboard and feel like you are riding some of the sickest waves around. There are thrills and spills as you drop 30 metres down and wipe out!

After all the incredible rides it's nice to sit back and relax at the new cool Whirlpool Springs. Hang out with some friends or a loved one and enjoy the cooling and calming waters at Whirlpool Springs which is available in the hotter months. Once the temperatures drop in Winter enter the hot Whirlpool Springs and relax in the twenty-person hot tubs.

Mammoth Falls is a wild river ride that takes you on an adventure through white water rapids. Jump in a huge 6-person tube with your friends or family and take on this river adventure together and make a big splash!

Always wanted to find out who was the fastest of all your friends? Get everyone together and hit the Super 8 Aqua Racer. These 8 slides are some of the most advanced racing slides around and come with drag lights. There won't be any discussions over who's the fastest as each rider will be able to gauge their total speed to the accuracy of 1/1000th of a second.

River Rapids takes you on a journey through the Rocky Mountains as you hit the river rapids and glide down Whitewater Mountain. In total there are 4 rides: the open air slides are ideal for kids whilst those who feel the need for speed will love the enclosed slides. River Rapids is a perfect ride for the whole family.

Located next door to the Wave Pool is FlowRider which offers riders the chance to grab a board and hit an endless wave. FlowRider has a surfboard which has specially designed for this ride and an inundation of water that flows past you. You can either stand up or lie down like a bodyboarder for the less experienced.

Calypso Beach offers visitors a relaxing time as you recline on inflatable tubes and flow down the river on a relaxing ride. You'll pass through tropical gardens, an old pirate castile and even a Caribbean shanty town. You can also take some time out and enjoy laying back on the beach. Unfortunately, this oasis ride is only open in the Summer months.

The ZipLine is the ultimate flying fox experience that will take you high above the park. Start your adventure at the top of Whitewater Mountain and zoom across 200 metres of ZipLine until you reach the end at the Wave Pool. Three lines stretch across the park so you can race your friends from one side to the other.

Note: Unfortunately, many of the extreme rides only let people of a certain height and weight participate. There are also restrictions on those with physical limitations like pregnancy, heart disorders, blood pressure issues, epilepsy, motion sickness neck and back disorders. Make sure you check the restrictions before entering the ride.

Most rides also do not permit you to wear large jewellery items or loose pieces of clothing. Make sure you listen to the operators staffing the rides so you don't get in any trouble.

Bombora Burger Bar offers delicious, fresh and tasty burgers, seafood packs, chicken and chips. There's also a variety of drinks and it's all fast so you don't have to wait too long until you hit the rides again. The Snack Shack offers healthy sandwiches, rolls and gourmet pies. There are lots of cakes and muffins for the morning tea or afternoon tea break.
