Home Of The Arts (HOTA) is the Gold Coast's premier cultural facility, bringing visual and performing arts to the residents of South East Queensland.

The complex houses the Arts Theatre, Gallery, two Cinemas and the Arts Cafe as well as several stunning function rooms, a chapel and two small performance spaces where depending on the night of the week you'll find live jazz or a stand up comedy club.

Gallery at HOTA

Formerly the Gold Coast City Gallery, Gallery at HOTA is one of Australia’s most prominent public regional galleries. Each year, the Gallery presents a diverse and dynamic program of exhibitions and events, including local, national and international exhibitions that are generated by the Gallery or displayed as part of a touring schedule.

The Gallery also houses the renowned City Collection of contemporary and historical artworks documenting the character of the Gold Coast as well as the development of Australian art practice. 2018 marks the beginning of construction of a new $60 million purpose built gallery to be completed in early 2021. The Cinema

With a unique blend of mainstream, art house and foreign films, the Arts Cinema is the perfect venue for lovers of film. Enjoy a meal, coffee or drink with a friend before the film in our licensed Arts Cafe, or take your glass of wine or coffee into the cinema with you for a first class experience.

Parking is free and so easy - there's no need to fight the shopping centre crowds. Our cinemas are equipped with the latest audio technology and you'll love our comfortable, custom-built seats and relaxed foyer lounge. The Arts Centre Gold Coast invites you to be a member of the centre and enjoy fantastic benefits and exclusive offers.

Cultural Precinct

Evandale Parklands is transforming into the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct, the heart of arts and culture on the Gold Coast. Stage 1 has just been completed and comprises of a concert lawn and outdoor stage which will provide exciting new event opportunities.
