The popular show Heartland, which has been featured since 2018, is a captivating class production and remarkable dinner show presented by magnificent Australian animals and Aussie farmers. The Australian Outback Spectacular's previous performance 'Heroes of the Light Horse' was the proud winner of Queensland's Major Tourist Attraction Award and thrilled thousands of audience members from all over the world with their stunts, music and poignant stories.

Experience the Australian Outback on the Gold Coast
While sitting in the Outback Arena you will be treated to a truly Aussie experience as you sit back in a traditional shearing shed with a corrugated iron roof, heavy timber settings, stockyard sand and native backdrop.
The Area has been built to truly evoke the unique spirit of the Australian Outback and that's even before the show begins. Once you walk through the entrance, pass the billabong, enter the Aussie Pub and pull up a stool for a small meal with drinks before showtime! The excitement hits near fever pitch as you enter the Outback Arena and take your seats.
Dining at Australian Outback Spectacular
The brand new menu consists of three ultimate Aussie favourites starting with Rustic woodfire roasted vegetables and goat feta tart served with wild rocket and homemade Pineapple chutney, followed by a juicy eye fillet steak or a tender chicken breast, both cooked to perfection served with a full-bodied jus dressed with lashings of plum sauce accompanied by a generous serve of roast pumpkin, green beans and a delicious potato parcel.
Last but not least, Dark Chocolate Tart drizzled with a delicious honey salted caramel sauce, topped with a pinch of chocolate dirt from the outback. During your meal, you can also enjoy a choice of beer, wine or soft drink - all of which are included in your ticket price*.
There's also a vegetarian option: A mini-camp oven filled with Braised Vegetables served with green beans, roast pumpkin and a potato parcel. Special dietary variations can be accommodated for guests requiring options to the standard menu based on medical advice (minimum 48 hours' notice required).

The Australian Outback Spectacular is on nightly at 7.30 pm Tuesday to Saturday and runs for 1 hour 50 minutes including your delicious three-course meal.
With the launch of the new show, there is a 12.30 pm Sunday Matinee lunch show held on the last Sunday of the month. The team welcomes you to come an hour before the show begins to have a beer or wine at the Aussie Pub. You can also take the time to wander about the Gift Shop for your very own Outback Spectacular souvenir or something from the latest R.M. Williams range.
How To Get here: directions & transfers
The Australian Outback Spectacular transformative arena is located around 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise on the Pacific Motorway. From Surfers Paradise, head west on the Gold Coast Highway until you reach Smith Street. Look for signs towards Brisbane and the Pacific Motorway, then take Exit 60 for Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild. Turn left at the traffic lights, and you'll find the Spectacular on your left!
If you're driving from Brisbane, follow signs for the Pacific Motorway and the Gold Coast. Take Exit 60 for Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild, then pass under the motorway and turn left at the traffic lights. The Spectacular will be on your left.
There are plenty of car parks and access for guests in wheelchairs and strollers. Visitors must also note that for the safety of riders and their horses, no photography or video cameras can be used throughout the show. There are also moderate levels of noise as well as the use of strobe lighting for those sensitive to these issues.
No car? No worries! Taxis (Gold Coast Cabs: 131 008), chauffeured limousines (Hughes Chauffeured Limousines: 1300 306 644), and bus transfers (Con-x-ion: 13 33 86) can get you there.
