Event Description

Surfers RSL Dawn March & Service
Marchers are invited to form up at the Surfers Paradise RSL Beach Rd entrance from 5.00am to step off for the march at 5.20am.The march will proceed east along Beach Rd and Hanlan St to the Esplanade and move to the Memorial as
directed by the Chief Marshal. The Surfers RSL Dawn Memorial Service and Wreath laying Ceremony will commence at 5.30am and will last approx 20 mins returning via the same route for the "Gunfire" Breakfast at Surfers RSL.
Surfers RSL will close from 11.30am - 1.00pm
Surfers RSL Noon March &
Civic Service
Marchers are requested to form up on the Esplanade at11.45am as directed by the Chief Marshal, North of Cavill Mall. Parade to turn right into Cavill Mall finishing at the
Cenotaph in Cavill Park. The Civic Service & Wreath laying ceremony commences at 12.30pm at the Cenotaph in Cavill Park, lasting approx 45mins.
Everyone is welcome to attend these services.
The Surfers RSL Restaurant will open for a Buffet Lunch at the conclusion of the Civic Service.
Celebrations, Entertainment & Two-Up will run into the evening.
