Sunday Sounds at Sanctuary Cove
The much-loved free live music event, Sunday Sounds at Sanctuary Cove, has been moved to Sunday 26th June due to wet weather conditions.
This year’s first winter edition of the family-friendly event will see headliners Aaron West and the Custodians, and supporting act, Rob McMullan, set the scene for an afternoon of lively grooves in The Marine Village at the Gold Coast’s premier lifestyle destination of Sanctuary Cove.
First to take the stage is Rob McMullan; Queensland's finest Spanish guitarist. He will perform fiery and passionate modern Flamenco compositions to start the afternoon with an upbeat rhythm and feel good vibes.
The Young Talent winner, Jenna Cogzell, will then perform an entrée to a much-anticipated show by the acclaimed Aaron West and the Custodians, who are set to ignite the stage with their sultry strains of soul, rhythm and blues, gospel and funk.
Brought together by their shared passion for the great soul music of the mid-20th century, Aaron West and the Custodians comprises some of Australia’s finest session musicians who are set apart by their level of dedication to their craft.
