Event Description

Sanctuary Cove will be a hub of entertainment for all ages as the refreshed ‘Sunday Sounds’ event kicks off this March, presenting a stellar line-up of outstanding live music and free events for the kids.

 

Come and enjoy the laidback live music in a relaxed atmosphere under the marquee in The Marine Village on Sunday March 22 between 1pm and 6pm.

 

From 1pm, the whole family can enjoy the delightful tunes of local favourite singer, songwriter and pianist Mark Watson to kick start the afternoon of free entertainment.

 

The Peter Cupples Band will take centre stage at 4pm, engaging crowds with a variety of rock and soul tracks guaranteed to keep the crowd grooving from afternoon through to sunset.

 

Not one to stick to a single genre of music, Peter Cupples has written and recorded numerous folk, country and jazz albums andhas experienced enormous success as a solo singer/ songwriter over the last three decades.

 

While parents relax and enjoy the live entertainment, kids can enjoy an afternoon of free activities including face painting and the popular Fun Land interactive jumping castle.

 

Sanctuary Cove is a resort-style masterplanned community, featuring two 18-hole championship golf courses, a 300-berth marina, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, and a Country Club including full fitness centre, tennis courts and 25m swimming pool.


The Marine Village is located on Masthead Way, Sanctuary Cove, just a 40 minute drive from Brisbane and the heart of the Gold Coast.
