Back to Events

Event Description

Settle in on the couch for a weekend-long binge-fest celebrating the best Queensland-made content from film festivals across the state this July 3 to 6. The Gold Coast Film Festival initiative brings the best of Queensland cinema to the comfort of your own home, delivering a collection of 11 short films and web series curated by 10 film festivals from across Queensland.

Join in on the fun as the film festivals involved host watch parties, live Q&As and other fun events on Facebook throughout the weekend so you can really get involved and share the experience. You can also cast your vote for your favourite film to win the People’s Choice Award – $1000 cash awarded to the short film that receives the most votes! Voters can also go in the draw to win a double pass to the 2021 Gold Coast Film Festival and a night’s accommodation at QT Gold Coast.

Screensland will premiere at 7.30pm on Friday 3 July. Sign up for Screensland reminders at the Gold Coast Film Festival website now.
