Event Description

Bring your family and friends to The Marine Village Sanctuary Cove and enjoy a program of FREE family events suitable for all ages as we welcome in the Year of the Horse.

The Marine Village will play host to traditional Chinese entertainment with lion dancing and main performances held each day and evening. Our very own Dragon Cove Chinese Cuisine will be the hive of festivities, with traditional celebrations and a special Chinese New Year menu.

In addition, Corker Cellars at Sanctuary Cove Tavern will be designing an Asian inspired menu and offering matching wines with free tastings between 4.00 pm – 7.00 pm each day.

The Tourism Confucius Institute at Griffith University will also host activities on Friday and Saturday, which include Chinese calligraphy, chopstick competitions, lantern decorating and much more.
