Banana Boat SwimKids Series in Gold Coast

Event Description

The final leg of the Banana Boat SwimKids Series is scheduled to kick-off this coming Easter Monday after a successful series of events at five Australian beach locations nationally. Part of the Speedo Festival of Ocean Swimming, an annual event run by the Gold Coast Open Water Swimming Club, Burleigh Beach is the last of six national locations that will play host to Australia’s first ocean swim series exclusively for children. The event will offer each participant the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence in the ocean, as well as receiving a race bag full of goodies.
There will be an 100m swim for ages 7-8 years, 200m for 9-10 years and 300m for 11-12 years, allowing kids to enjoy the best of Australia under the watchful guidance of Surf Lifeguards.
