Don't miss the beachfront Art and Craft markets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month in Kurrawa Park, featuring a variety of colourful stalls of gifts, souveniers, fresh produce, natural products, games and more.
Family Fun at Kurrawa Beach
Kurrawa Beach not only hosts the beachfront markets, but it's also one of the most popular family and surfing beaches on the Gold Coast. The former home to the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, Kurrawa Beach is highly popular with families and tourists because of the great foreshore facilities and amenities including beautiful parklands, a duck pond, playground equipment, boardwalk, sheltered picnic areas and barbeques.
Enjoy a drink or meal at the Surf Club Kurrawa (they have a varandah that's perfect for people/wave watching), see the beach volleyball games or laze about in the sun - there's wide area of sand between so there's room to spread out and enjoy the view!
