Gold Coast Tides and Tide Charts
Because of the Gold Coast's physical latitude, variations between high and low tide don't tend to be huge.
The Australian Bureau of Meteorology (nothing to do with falling rocks of course) runs an Oceanographic Services Bureau which includes tide predictions for Queensland and the Gold Coast seaway is monitored as a 'secondary port'.
A list of tidal variations between various Gold Coast locations appears below.
Gold Coast Tide Variations (compared to Brisbane)
- Coomera River Hope Island, +90, +90
- Jacobs Well, +15, +15
- Paradise Point, +10, +17
- Runaway Bay, -7, +3
- Southport Broadwater, -41, -28
- Tweed Heads, -50, -50
