Southport Accommodation
One of the first areas settled on the Gold Coast, Southport is now the business, medical and commercial centre of the region. It's undergone a modernising transformation in the last few years, with several new high rises and developments.
It's not all serious though, Southport hasn't escaped that Gold Coast holiday vibe. Many of the high rises contain holiday accommodation and are handily positioned on the main drag and close to the beautiful Broadwater - the area of calm water between the mainland and South Stradbroke Island. There's great access to water activities such as boating, snorkelling and kayaking, plus it's just down the road from Sea World.
