Main Beach Aerial Looking East
Main Beach is attached to the main coastal peninsula stretching from iconic Surfers Paradise to The Spit, but it's practically an island in itself and is surrounded on three sides by the Nerang River, Broadwater and then by the ocean on the east. The whole area is only about 1km square, but it's highly developed and includes plenty of parkland. Tedder Avenue is the third horizontal road from the bottom and is well known for its delicious restaurants and premier boutiques which mixes well with a laid back Main Beach lifestyle.
