“Heaven for kids… Paradise for Parents!” Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Paradise Resort in Surfers Paradise is probably the most family-friendly resort on the Gold Coast.
Their well-renowned Kids Club and brilliant facilities for infants, toddlers, kids and teenagers make it a popular choice among families and its location in the heart of Surfers Paradise is pretty hard to beat. Although with all that’s on offer you might never leave!
What kid wouldn’t go wild for a water park on their doorstep, or ice skating rink or rock climbing wall? That’s just to name a few of the activities they can get up to! There is also an Adult Zone where you can enjoy live music, cooking demonstrations and wine and beer tasting. Each day every child receives up to 4 free hours of the supervised fun as part of Kids Club so you actually will have time out to enjoy the Adult Zone or laze by the pool!
Located inside the resort are a number of casual dining options which cater to families. There’s a Poolside Café if you can’t tear yourself away, Juice Bar, Bistro and even a mini-mart so you can pick you up food to cook on the BBQ.
Each of the 359 rooms has a private balcony with an assortment of accommodation styles to suit your family. The Bunkhouse rooms are pretty cute and to keep the kids further occupied some rooms even have an Xbox. The largest room caters up to 2 adults and 4 children.
Currently, Paradise Resort is transforming into a family-friendly, apartment complex which will consist of 4 towers. Construction began on the adjacent site in June 2016 and is set to open in 2018. As you can imagine there is construction noise but all work will be carried out within daylight hours.

Located on 122 Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise, the resort is within walking distance to everything Surfers has to offer, as well as near public transport so you can easily access all parts of the Gold Coast from this central location.
