Gold Coast RSL Clubs

The Gold Coast is home to dozens of RSL & SLSC offering a family-friendly atmosphere, entertainment, pokies, bars and community support.

In fact, just about every suburb has its own RSL or Leagues club of some description, ensuring you’re never too far from an affordable place for lunch or dinner. The RSL Clubs of Australia are part of the Returned and Services League of Australia, formed after the Great War as a support organisation for returned and serving members of the Australian Defence Force.

The clubs were first formed to provide a place for veterans to share their camaraderie, but over the years they have evolved to be providers of good value entertainment and hospitality. The profits from the clubs are used for community services and events, often making donations to other local community services. So not only is your local RSL club a great place to meet your friends, go out for dinner and see some live music, but by going there you’re contributing to the local community.
