Event Description

Designated by Minister Palaszczuk as an "iconic Queensland event", the annual Gold Coast Multicultural Festival is a free family-friendly event.

The 2011 festival featured; 
- Over 60 stalls including ethnic foods, arts, crafts and information 
- 75 performers from 25 different nations on 4 stages 
- AFL children's activity area 
- Children's amusement rides 
- Visits from local Councillors and Ministers 
- Over 24,000 visitors (officially) 
- And much more

Applications for the next festival will be available February/March 2012.
