Transcending the barriers of age, gender and culture, the Blues on Broadbeach festival is a free, non-ticketed event that takes over Broadbeach every year.
Spanning four huge days in May, it has become on Australia’s most iconic Blues festivals, attracting fans and artists from around the world. It is also the largest free music festival in Australia.
The festival nurtures local talent while providing a platform for international acts with artists performing day and night at a range of outdoor stages and venues throughout Broadbeach and the Gold Coast.
It's a music experience like no other that still manages to remain a free event.

Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival 2015 will be the festivals 14th consecutive year, and bringing with it all the wisdom gained over the past decade to make it the best one yet.
With over 450,000 people in attendance since the festivals inception, Blues on Broadbeach is regarded as one of the world’s largest free festivals. Experience the sound that started it all with 4 huge outdoor stages plus more than 10 Broadbeach venues hosting FREE live entertainment throughout the 4 day festival.
Blues on Broadbeach combines the best blues artists with the immaculate Broadbeach location, all absolutely FREE and you don’t even require a ticket to attend – it’s no wonder the 2013 festival saw over 95,000 spectators stream into Broadbeach over the 4 days.

The festival attracts thousands of people every year. Your best bet is to catch public transport in to Broadbeach and then find your way by foot to your favourite events. There are plenty of bus routes though Broadbeach, as well as the Light Rail tram system which stops just a few minutes away from the action.
If you prefer to drive yourself, you can park in any one of a number of paid parking lots in the Broadbeach area, most of which offer weekend and festival rates. Gold Coast Taxis will also be operating throughout the festival.
One of the best ways to enjoy the festival is to find accommodation in Broadbeach. There are plenty of resorts, hotels and hostels in amongst the celebrations. You’ll have the convenience of having the whole festival right at your doorstep.
