Limousine

Taxi

As with almost any airport around the world you can hail a taxi at the arrivals gate to take you to your accommodation. A cab to the northern end of the Gold Coast will cost you at least $95 and if you're heading south to Coolangatta you can expect to pay up to $170.

Bus

Airtrain between Brisbane Airport and Gold Coast Train Stations

A one way train ticket from Brisbane airport to the Gold Coast ranges from about $25 to $30 per adult, depending on which Gold Coast train station you want to get to. There are six train stations on the Gold Coast at the following locations:

Ormeau
Coomera
Helensvale
Nerang
Robina
Varsity Lakes

The train line runs down the western side of the coast and each station is a 10-15 min (or $10-$15) taxi ride from the beach where most of the accommodation is. Buses are also available from the train stations and will cost roughly between $10 and $20 depending on where you want to go, but may not stop near your hotel.

Airtrain between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane CBD

Catch Brisbane's Airtrain when you arrive at Brisbane Airport (Airtrain stations at the Domestic and International Airports are located directly outside the terminals) and settle in for a speedy 20 minute ride in comfort to the very centre of Brisbane's CBD. Destinations in Brisbane's CBD include:
